Hyundai Capital America was the eighth-largest lender by outstandings in yearend 2024 with a portfolio of $66 billion, according to the latest Big Wheels Rankings data. The captive arm rolled out options for its insurance program in April in agreement with Root, parent company of online insurance provider Root Insurance.
Novotny, who rose to chief operations officer in July 2024, has served in numerous leadership positions at Hyundai Capital America since 2015. His previous roles include chief risk officer and multiple vice president positions across consumer risk, collections and recovery, insurance and remarketing, and lease end servicing.
