Singaporean hedge fund firm Arrowpoint Investment Partners has collaborated with SS&C Technologies to administer its flagship fund.
SS&C GlobeOp has been picked as the administrator of this $1bn multi-strategy fund.
The vehicle, managed by 18 portfolio managers across Hong Kong and Singapore, deploys a variety of investment strategies.
Arrowpoint was established by former Millennium Asia co-CEO Jonathan Xiong.
The Asia-focused firm integrates fundamental and quantitative strategies across equities, fixed income, and commodities.
Arrowpoint chief operating officer Woon Young Jeong said: “We needed an administrator who was deeply familiar with multiple asset classes, complex fee structures, and managing reporting requirements for investors of multi-manager vehicles.
“SS&C’s cutting-edge technology and professional and knowledgeable support team make it an ideal partner to service our fund.”
SS&C GlobeOp APAC head and managing director Michael Li said: “As the hedge fund market evolves, multi-strategy vehicles attract much investor interest. These vehicles can be complex to manage, as multiple asset classes, fee structures and reporting requirements are involved.”
Set up in 1986, SS&C serves over 22,000 organisations worldwide, ranging from large corporations to small and mid-market firms. The firm is based in Windsor, Connecticut.
Earlier this month, SS&C acquired non-depository trust company FPS Trust, strengthening its offerings for institutional clients. Financial details of the transaction were not revealed.
FPS Trust, headquartered in Centennial, Colorado, focuses on “high-volume” beneficiary distributions, paying agent services as well as tax processing solutions.
The business will now operate within SS&C Innovest.
